    Downtown L.A. Arts Scene Erupts with The Broad Museum Debut

    All I can say is WOW!!! With the Broad Museum’s black-tie opening gala tonight, we are on the precipice of dramatic change coming to the landscape of downtown Los Angeles. The Broad Museum doesn’t open to the public until this Sunday, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that this long-awaited arts institution is yet another step towards creating a vibrant, pulsing cultural epicenter downtown with music, art, theater and opportunities for social connection.     High Drama at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts: Denzel Washington Leads Master Class

    As a board member at the Wallis Annenberg Cultural Center of Beverly Hills, I love following all of the fabulous arts education events presented at this iconic new space! While I can't possibly attend all of them, I am particularly excited about the center’s 2015-2016 Master Class season, which features talks from artistic ambassadors and creative visionaries like Arturo Sandoval, Suzanne Farrell, Patti LuPone and Judith Jamison.     Cure Cervical Cancer!!

    Jack & I support our dear friend, Dr. Patricia Gordon, who is opening clinics around the globe to CURE CERVICAL CANCERS. She named a clinic after Jack and me!!!! What an honor! This photograph was taken in the northernmost part of Guatemala. Pictured are the dedicated nurses that have been trained to sustain, continue screening and treating women to prevent cervical cancer. Hundreds of patients had already gone to the clinic and about 50 have been treated. Of course several members of the fabulous Cure Cervical Cancer team are also included in the picture.
