High Drama at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts: Denzel Washington Leads Master Class

As a board member at the Wallis Annenberg Cultural Center of Beverly Hills, I love following all of the fabulous arts education events presented at this iconic new space! While I can’t possibly attend all of them, I am particularly excited about the center’s 2015-2016 Master Class season, which features talks from artistic ambassadors and creative visionaries like Arturo Sandoval, Suzanne Farrell, Patti LuPone and Judith Jamison.

On Thursday, the great Denzel Washington is going to share stories and anecdotes about his work on stage and screen at the Bram Goldsmith Theater. I know this is going to be an amazing talk! The two-time Academy Award, Tony and Golden Globe winning actor and filmmaker is a true master of his craft, but more importantly, he is an example of the caliber of creative talent and energy that is exploding in our city!  It’s an amazing moment to be a part of Los Angeles, in the presence of all of this energy, let me tell you!

The live Master Class is sold out, but you can still sign up for the Livestream on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get inspired this week!!
