The stars of Beverly Hills real estate and business are going to be out tonight at the Will Rogers Awards Gala at the Montage Hotel! I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be nominated along with several of my fellow real estate colleagues for the Realtor Lifetime Achievement award.

I have been selling real estate in Beverly Hills for over 35 years, and I have always been proud to operate my business in the epicenter of luxury! It’s been a joy watching this city grow and become a magnet of opportunity for people to live out their dreams. I have certainly lived out my dreams here. When the Wallis Annenberg Performing Arts Center opened its doors last year, it was a major milestone for this city, as well as for myself. It has been one of the most fulfilling experiences to sit on the board of this amazing kernel of a dream and help make it a reality for our city.

I must confess: it is truly humbling that I was asked to be recognized among my peers at this special event tonight, which is only in its infancy. Hosted by Peri Ellen Berne and Lawrence Zarian and Dave Koz, with media partner The Beverly Hills Courier, the gala will benefit the City of Beverly Hills Community Charitable Foundation. It will specifically support the restoration of our century-old treasure Beverly Gardens Park. I applaud Steve Gordon for renewing the Friends of Beverly Gardens Park this year. His initiative to restore our city’s parks and fountains is something that had been overlooked forever. His leadership underscores what I love most about Beverly Hills: it is a “can-do” city! We are so lucky to live and work in a community where all it takes is one person with a passion to make difference. We have that spark of great ideas and great people!

So, here’s to celebrating Beverly Hills tonight and everyone who has made it the explosive global metropolis that it is today!
