Turns out pay phones aren’t the only throwback item Adam Levine’s been missing. The Maroon 5 frontman and judge on “The Voice” just shelled out $18 million for a mansion in Los Angeles. And based on the listing photos, it certainly seems like a relic from another era.
The home is located in Holmby Hills and was originally listed last year for $27.5 million, per the Wall Street Journal. The 9,200-square-foot home sits on 1.2 acres, and features views of the Los Angeles Country Club and the Century City skyline. It has five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a pool, cabana, guest house, “postmodern kitchen” (which really just looks outdated to us) and “breathtaking marble slated bathrooms.” Uh, sure.
Levine and his Victoria’s Secret model wife, Behati Prinsloo, sold their Soho loft last year for $5.5 million, after only three months on the market.
Linda May of Hilton & Hyland had the listing.
